Last night there was a party for West Park players, with a presentation ceremony. Everyone got a trophy for participating in the season, but there were four special awards.
1. Top goal scorer: Darren Pass
2. Player of year (voted by adults): Craig
3. Player of year (voted by players): Daniel
4. Man of the Match Award (most Man of Match nominations): Thomas!
Needless to say he was thrilled and we had a photo session this morning...

Trophy

Thomas and Gavin won the under 11's Lenzie doubles tournament yesterday. Okay there were only two other couples in the competition but that is no reason not to look victorious....


Wow, haven't put anything on blog for ages have I? Too busy looking after kids to report on them. Have got some photos of St Andrews holiday that I will try and put up soon.

Loch Long

Went to Arrochar yesterday and stayed in tent on edge of Loch Long.
Saturday afternoon was great fun. The night was a bit more challenging and we are all pretty pooped today.

Hole in Five

Thomas is thrilled to have his certificate for the golf club, which means he can go out by himself.

Very, very late with this...but here is a photo from Thomas's birthday party. We went to LazerQuest and then back to our house for general chaos. This photo sort of sums up the tone of the event, which was fun for them, hard work for us (hence this is about the only photo of the day we have).

Thomas on Telly

Earlier this month there was a film crew at Thomas's school for a show called 'Prime Time'. It is a BBC Scotland programme, and should be broadcast in August.

They have been learning about disabilities recently, including a visit from a real live actual disabled person. A few kids were interviewed about the whole thing and the teacher kindly videoed it for us...

Pre-school science experiment: Let your toddler grow a head of long, very fine hair, then let him go down the plastic slide numerous times. The results are hilarious....

Deer

Ferg a lot better now.

Managed to get some photos of wild roe deer that hang out in the fields near us. Unfortunately they do not let you get close so the photos are pretty poor...

Sad Sack

Check out the big lump on Fergus's neck. He is very unhappy at the minute. Although scenes like the one below generate a lot of sympathy, we are trying our best to maintain it while he kicks, punches and throws everything and everyone in sight, and spends 95% of the day having a tantrum. Hopefully he will be on the mend soon...
